Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, July 24

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to arrive on Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, July 24.

As detailed before Xbox Wire, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be available on Game Pass for consoles, Game Pass for PC, and Game Pass Ultimate on July 24, and includes the complete package – campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies.

While this is big news for Call of Duty fans, it’s also worth noting that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be the first Call of Duty game to join Xbox Game Pass. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has also been confirmed to be on Xbox Game Pass day one, but Modern Warfare 3 will always have the honor of being first.

In our review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s single-player campaign, we said, “Modern Warfare 3’s single-player campaign, ill-conceived, reworked, and stitched together from multiplayer parts, is everything a Call of Duty story mode shouldn’t be.”

In our Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer review, we said it “reheats the same multiplayer mode from Modern Warfare 2 with a few extra maps and tweaks as decoration. These smooth battles remain comfort food for gaming, but the slow progress of unlocking the game makes it hard to get excited about them.”

In our Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies review, we said: “Operation Deadlock blends Zombies mode with Warzone’s DMZ mode, and while the combination can create some heart-stopping battles, you’ll have to be willing to work hard to see them through.”
