The Department of Languages ​​(DDL) of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University is recruiting Level 3 LANSAD English Lecturers for B1 to B2 students in the first half of 2024-2025.

The spaces to be filled are as follows:

PMF site (31 rue Patricourt, 75013 Paris):

Monday: 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Monday: 4:30 PM to 6 PM and 6 PM to 7:30 PM.

Tuesday: 2 sessions 12:30 pm-2 pm and 2:30 pm-4 pm
Tuesday: 2 TDs 3-4:30 pm and 5-6:30 pm (3 TDs 3-4:30 pm, 5-6:30 pm and 6:30-8 pm)

Wednesday: 2 sessions 10 am-11:30 am and 11:30 am-1 pm
Wednesday: 4 pm to 5:30 pm and 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

Sensier site (13 rue Santeuil, 75005 Paris):

Wednesday: 2 practices from 4pm to 5:30pm.

Lourcine site (1 Rue de la Glacière, 75013 Paris):

Friday: 2 practices 12:30pm to 2pm and 2pm to 3:30pm.

Pantheon Site (12 Place du Pantheon, 75005):

Wednesday: 2 sessions 9:30 am-11 am and 11 am-12:30 pm

Each tutorial group is composed of non-professional students in different majors of the university (mainly AES, History, Geography, Informatics, Philosophy and Social Sciences), up to a maximum of 28 people.

The course content is fully presented in a brochure format, as well as a corresponding ENT, developed through level coordination. However, academic freedom is guaranteed in conducting the tutorials: it is not mandatory to use the academic material provided, it is only appropriate to include the theme (Discovering Ireland) and the language facts retained for the semester, as the final and solution exam lessons are designed from this program.

Monitoring and correcting these final and make-up exams is not part of the lecturers’ tasks, who are expected to assess their students only as part of continuous assessment, which includes the final exam during the last tutorial for the semester (and not later part. end of classes).

Classes will start on the week of Monday 16th September and end on the week of Monday 16th December. A week off on Monday, October 28.

The general conditions for the recruitment of lecturers apply to all universities (under 67 years of age, doctorate holder, a major private employer with a certificate, or a public employer with accreditation for accumulation or self-employed for at least three years).

DDs’ pay is the national framework (€43.5/hour total).

Second semester (first week of which starts on Monday January 27) courses can also be applied for among the slots offered.
