On Saturday, September 10, 2022, ELT (for English Teachers Association) Landarno Hub Organizes an open day to learn English in a friendly atmosphere. From 12:30 pm onwards, this training center offers teachers of all levels an opportunity to discover new learning methods and innovative textbooks in collaboration with SIDE (International Distribution and Publishing Company), a major book distributor in foreign languages. On this day, the youngest will not be left out with “British” games and workshops to learn the language of Shakespeare.
“The delay in a foreign language occurs from elementary school, and then it is very difficult to catch up,” analyzes the director of the training center, Jane Ryder. “The idea is to introduce fun and innovative ways of learning English to teachers and students so that they can start from a young age with the right foundation”.
Treasure hunt
Participants are expected from 12:30 pm for a coffee and a presentation of the work of Courtney Heuvingel, consultant in ELT. Workshops for teachers and children will follow depending on age and levels. From 2:30 p.m., activities and games will be held in the gardens of the training center, followed by a treasure hunt for children. The day will conclude with refreshments and a more informal moment of discussion.
