They weren’t laughing.

Comedian Dave Chappelle criticized the United States for supporting Israel’s “war crimes” against Palestinians during a live show in Boston on Thursday, prompting some audience members to walk out, according to a report.

The controversial comedian made the comments during a show at TD Garden on Thursday. The Wall Street Journal reported.

Chappelle condemned the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel that left about 1,400 Israelis dead — but criticized what he claimed were Israeli war crimes in Gaza, prompting some backlash from the crowd, attendees told the outlet.

The uproar began when an audience member told Chappelle to “shut up” after he said he didn’t think people should lose their jobs over their support of the Palestinians, according to the newspaper.

In response, Chappelle criticized the Israeli government’s decision to cut off food, water and electricity to Gaza.

Part of Chappelle’s scheduled events lists a show on October 19 at TD Garden in Boston.

He also accused Israel of killing innocent civilians and committing war crimes, according to the report.

More than 4,300 Palestinians were killed in the conflict, as the IDF relentlessly bombarded the Strip with more than 6,000 bombs. Among the dead were women and children, according to the Palestinian authorities.

Other members of the audience cheered and chanted “Free Palestine!” While others responded, “What about Hamas?!”, witnesses told the newspaper.

Some audience members walked out after the loud moment.

At the end of the show, Chappelle reportedly said that two wrongs don’t make a right, referring to the Hamas attacks and subsequent Israeli military response.

A spokesperson for Chappelle told the outlet that the comedian “denies being in Boston” that night — despite the show being listed among its dates through ticket outlets.
