Sources close to the situation have confirmed that Kylian Mbappe has informed Paris Saint-Germain that he will leave the club at the end of this season when his contract expires.
The terms of Mbappe's exit have not been fully agreed and an official announcement is expected once the situation is finalized in the next few months.
Mbappe's salary at Paris Saint-Germain costs €200m ($215m, £171m) per year, and the club says it remains focused on continuing its transition away from the 'Galacticos' era, with other big names such as Lionel Messi, Neymar, Sergio Ramos and Marco. Verratti is among those who have left in the last 12 months.

Madrid president Florentino Pérez has been in direct contact with Mbappé and was the main driving force behind the La Liga side's latest move for the player who rejected them two years ago, despite at one point feeling certain the striker had agreed to the transfer.
Mbappe joined Paris Saint-Germain from Monaco in the summer of 2017 for 180 million euros. He scored 243 goals in 290 appearances in all competitions during six-and-a-half years at the club.
Mbappe participated in 30 matches with Paris Saint-Germain in all competitions this season, scoring 31 goals.
