Actress Annie Wershing, best known for her roles in TV shows 24, Bush And KhalidaShe died of cancer early this morning, her publicist confirmed. She was 45 years old

Wersching’s husband, actor Stephen Voll, released a statement. “There’s a cavernous hole in this family’s soul today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found amazement in the slightest moment. She didn’t need music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. Go find it. It’s everywhere.” And we will come back to find it.

Wershing was born and raised in St. Louis by parents Sandy and Frank. Her first major role was as Amelia Joffe Public Hospital. She went on to star as Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24. Wersching also had a major role in The Vampire Diaries, The Runaways, The Found, Timeless, Bosch And rookie rookie.
One of her last roles was in the second season of Star Trek: Picard Exactly two decades after she made her on-screen acting debut in an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise.
Among the survivors are her husband and children, Freddie, 12; Ozzie, and Archie, 4.
