Exciting offers from Saudi clubs could see two new big names join football’s new El Dorado.
Saudi Arabia continues its foray into Europe and continues its quest to attract big names in the Saudi Pro League to highlight its championship.
According to Athletic, Al-Etifaq club target Jordan Henderson. The Saudi club want to quadruple his wages to snap up the 33-year-old England international, who is under contract with Liverpool until 2025. There, Henderson will find a certain Steven Gerrard. The Reds have yet to be contacted by Al-Etifaq, but the player could be lured towards the end of his career.
Alvaro Morata is also being monitored by Saudi Arabia. The Atlético de Madrid player plans to leave the Spanish capital and wants to move to Italy, but a substantial offer from the club, whose name has yet to be leaked, could lead to a review of his plans.
