Zendaya, 27, shared a number of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from her new tennis drama to Instagram On April 23. At the end of the nine clips she shared, the actress showed off a quick video of her stars Josh O'Connor and Mike Faist kissing with a tennis racket wearing Zendaya's wig from the film — a tongue-in-cheek reference to an iconic scene in the film's trailer where the two men begin kissing Zendaya's character Tashi.

“This is the kissing scene,” Faist, 32, says in the video, before he and O’Connor, 33, lean in to kiss the bat. The three actors can be heard laughing, before O'Connor is seen saying: “Not again!”

“A little bit of BTS in honor of the 'Challengersmovie' coming out in a couple of days. This is my first time leading a movie like this, so you girls were nervous, but the excitement and encouragement from everyone meant the world to me,” Zendaya wrote in a post. Caption to share.

Her carousel also included a video of O'Connor flipping a plastic water bottle to land completely upright, a video of her playing tennis and photos of her co-stars sitting with the film's director Luca Guadagnino.

“I'm so honored to be able to do this alongside these incredibly talented, wonderful (and funny) people, and on behalf of all of us, we hope you enjoy the movie and again… try not to judge the characters too much.” She finished the comment, adding: “But Also #teamtashi.”

United It follows Zendaya's character Tashi Duncan as a promising young tennis player who takes an interest in fellow athletes Patrick (O'Connor) and Art (Faist). The film intertwines the three characters romantically, then picks up years later, after he has suffered an injury. She finished Tashi's tennis career, works as an arts coach, and is now her husband.

Zendaya is in the 2024 competition.
