Seulle remembers Terre et Mer as part of the 1944-2024 project, supported by the Gold Beach Tourist Office.
Activities and historical reconstruction of life during occupation and after June 6 liberation.
All animations are taken from real events from 1940 to 1944.
Every day:
– Visit to the camp with reconstruction scenes conducted by British, civilian and German reenactors.
– Reorganization of class of pioneer students in 1940 (children and teachers)
– Animation and storytelling activities for the general public
June 22
Liberation Day with musical entertainment (Melie.mélo choir), traveling choir with accordionist Anne Verweg. In the evening, a libation ball and British party open to all (paying) by Dancing Day.
June 23
10am, with procession and vehicles through the villages (St. Gabriel, Villiers & Crowley)
Access to activities and camping is free, guided tours and activities (primarily surveys for families) are subject to a fee.
Refreshments and refreshments on site.
