Being in Los Angeles wasn’t a great thing for me.

Taylor Kitsch’s latest venture is located miles from Los Angeles, just as the former “Friday Night Lights” actor wants it to be.

“I started working later, and I was able to figure out who I was and what I needed,” he told The Hollywood Reporter of his recent move to Montana.

“Being in L.A. has never been so cool to me, and I love being here — there’s so much peace to take in. That’s what this place is to me: it won’t solve all problems, but hopefully it helps at least one person. In working to achieve what he needs.

Kitsch is building a space for the veteran and sober/healing communities in what has become a passion project in Bozeman.

“I’m really excited about this, being a base camp for people to empower themselves,” he says of the property where he’s currently building a house, cabins and a geodesic dome among other resources like a wood-burning hot tub. .

While “every nickel” for the project came out of Kitsch’s own pocket, the “Painkiller” star enlisted the help of a veteran to enhance the build.

While working on the 2013 movie Lone Survivor, Keech became close with retired Marine Marcus Luttrell.

The two men remained close, and Keech grew increasingly interested in learning about veterans’ issues.

“It was a life or death risk, and Marcus was one of the few people I called for help,” he explained.

“When you’re integrated into this community, it’s like you’re a brother for life, which is really beautiful.”

Kitsch also used his connections with the Marines he had met over the years to help with the space building process.

“With my limited skills, I’m more inclined to run…. Consider me a kind of first ad.” [assistant director]He joked about his role on the site.
