Cenergus: A new rule for the former post office… it’s switched to English

Since the end of 2021, English is spoken there, the host is “bedroomed” there, and the villagers have been able to discover its new interior look.

At Senergus, the oldest remembers the time when there was a real post office run by a receiver. Unfortunately, that time is long gone and the building that housed the operation has been unused for years. In December 2021, Julie and David Lancaster from Manchester, England became the new owners. Very friendly and warm communication, they were quickly and perfectly integrated into village life.

They have been permanent residents of Cenergus since April 2022, which has enabled them to undertake major remodeling and renovation work to make the residence livable. On Saturday, September 3, they warmly invited the residents of Senerkus to come and discover and somehow “open” this complex that they had renovated. People who know the old post office don’t recognize the place.

A good friendly potluck around a sumptuous buffet of English and French specialties brought together a good fifty neighbors and friends who managed to visit the two guest rooms.
