The French have no European game this weekend due to travel restrictions in Great Britain.
Faced with a new wave of Covit-19s, the EPCR announced on Friday that it would postpone all matches between the French and British clubs in favor of the second day of the Champions Trophy and Challenge Cup. In total, 7 French clubs have been affected by the move: La Rochelle, Clermont, UBB, Toulouse, Stade Français, Biarritz and Brive.
“This is a result of the new travel restrictions between the United Kingdom and France, which have been implemented by the French government.”, Refers to the event in a press release. “The committee has received explanations from three professional leagues containing information from their respective governments. However, there is no guarantee that these matches will not be risky. ” The EPCR clarified that the 2nd day matches will be rescheduled for more later.
