New York Giants Rookie Kyvon Thibodeau created as much buzz off the field as he did on the court Sunday as the team clinched a playoff spot with a win over the Indianapolis Colts.

In the second quarter, Thibodeau sacked Nick Foles and celebrated for the Snow Angels on the home turf of MetLife Stadium. He didn’t seem to know. The holes were down from the pain Right next to him and the quarterback will not return to the game.

Thibodeaux insisted after the game that he did not know Foles was injured on the play while he was celebrating.

“When I realized he was injured, we started waking up,” he said after the game via ESPN. “When you’re doing a party, you’re not looking to see who’s doing what. But I hope he gets better, I hope he’s okay.”

Foles’ teammate Ryan Kelly Annoyed by the ceremony, calling it “horses—.”

“I hope his teammates do — maybe one day he’ll learn that injuries happen in the league, you’d never want them to happen to the guy you’re going up against,” the offensive tackle said via the team’s website. “That’s just horses—.”

New York sealed the playoff berth with the win. Thibodeaux appears to be eyeing what the postseason can bring.
