After much discussion – and a few shouting matches about how he knows how to use threats – Snow manages to convince the authorities to remove the pump arm. Since then, the cholera epidemic has stopped. Although the disease killed more than 500 people in a single week, it was a huge victory for the coach. He found a way to stop the carnage.
