A good rule of thumb: Don’t make any predictions if Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsai is involved. This was the podcast’s fault only 24 hours ago, when we closed Sunday Night Summary Announcing that Irsai will be patient with coach Frank Reich after a disastrous 3-5-1 start to the 2022 season.
In fact, the opposite happened: Colts fired Reich early Monday and in an even more surprising move, former Colts center hired Jeff Saturday as their interim head coach. Saturday is widely accepted as a scratch decision, considering he has no professional or team level training.
