Monistrol-sur-Loire. At CCI, you can learn English in evening classes

“Business and industry is France’s leading language study center,” recalls Cendrine Bouilhol, head of the training center and Fanny Reveillé, consultant at the CCI. Each year, courses are offered in three interconsular buildings: Priot, Puy-en-Veille and Monistrol-sur-Loire.

They are aimed at individuals, job seekers, students and companies looking to register their employees.

But in Monistrol-sur-Loire, despite the large number of companies and strong economic activity, few are willing to take these courses. Is it a problem of competition with former coaches who set up their own and offer the same services? Ignorance of the device? It’s probably a little bit of everything.

Customized courses in Russian, Chinese, Spanish…

The CCI in the east of the department is offering a free trial course on Monday 18 September at 6pm at its premises on the boulevard (on Mazel next to Pôle emploi).

“Our courses are adaptable and all are led by native-speaking teachers. It can be individual lessons in professional or current vocabulary or group lessons for companies,” explains Cendrine Bouilhol.

“An assessment test is proposed. Regardless of their level, true beginner or advanced, the participants benefit from different lesson formulas that focus on oral expression and language practice on a daily basis. For this the teachers use different media and games. A maximum of six people in each session. Training in sessions of 2 hours per week. Available.

Group evening classes in English start in October and end in April. A total of 46 hours of face-to-face is scheduled. 35 euros per hour, plus 105 euros for the certificate funded by the Personal Training Account (CPF) or his company.

It should be noted that other foreign language courses are offered by CCI: not only English, but also German, Chinese, Arabic, Italian, Spanish or Russian. These trainings are certified. Students can take the TOIC to certify their spoken and written English; or Cloe for other languages.
