After trying his hand as a consultant in the media, Ludovic Giuly returned to the world of football. In June 2022, he joined his coaching club as an assistant to Peter Boss. However, the experience did not last long. Not just because the Netherlands coach was sacked.
Cueley is embarrassed in the canteen
A year after arriving, Giuli left. Why? Because he is not compatible enough with the current leaders of the club. Working under John Dexter, all of his disciples influenced him. Mainly because of the language barrier.

The former France international (17 caps) told his best friend Pascal Olmetta what motivated him to take the plunge. “I left OL because in the offices, in the canteen, if you don’t speak English, you’re dead.” Since then, the former Monegasque has been twiddling his thumbs as he awaits a new challenge.
As a player, Giuli has traveled to overseas championships. He played in Spain (Barcelona) and Italy (Rome), which allowed him to learn both languages. On the other hand, he didn’t get a chance to perform in the Premier League. So he has very low proficiency in English.
