Spezia’s Emil Holm has already attracted the attention of leading Italian clubs and now two English clubs are said to be entering the fray.
The 23-year-old Swedish right-back joined Aquilotti last summer, spending a year on loan at former club SönderjyskE following a €300,000 move to the Ligurian club in 2021. Holm stood out in his first season with Spezia. In his 20 Serie A appearances, he scored one goal and provided two assists. His work attracted the attention of clubs such as Inter and Juventus. As Calciomercato.com reports, Premier League clubs have taken notice of Holm’s impressive year with Spezia. In Italy, Inter, Juventus, Napoli, Turin and Atalanta are keen to catch Sweden, with the Nerazzurri in pole position. Spezia want at least €15m for Holm and are unwilling to offer a cut following their recent relegation.
