In the LOSC, two players are among the 10 most capped English players. In one season, former Lille resident Joe Cole made it into the top 10. With 32 games played in the 2011/2012 season, the striker is ninth. More recently, there is one more player in the LOSC ranked seventh in this ranking. Angel Gomes made 38 appearances in Ligue 1 with Lille. If the former Manchester United man stays for extra seasons, he could leapfrog other English names in our league.
