I had this plan for a long time, but I feel it today,” says Aniset Jacobin. The key to success for her: Immersion! “Small group, 50-minute sessions supervised by native English speakers”. At first, it was experimental, with the Jubilee Society opening its wallet and donating €1,000 to fund the stay. “We started the program in May and it was an achievement to set it up,” concludes the retired teacher, satisfied with “English” in this first green class.
