In time for the 2023 Rugby World Cup and the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) is adapting its SignalConso platform for English-speaking consumers. The application and website have been translated into English so that every visitor can use it during their trip to France.
Overcharging for transportation services, non-compliant hotel rooms, fraudulent service offerings, counterfeiting: like any consumer, foreign visitors need to be protected. Also, to ensure the best security for them during their stay, especially during the major sporting events that France is preparing to host, the DGCCRF publishes the English version of the SignalConso platform, which is already available online at the following address: https://signal.conso.gouv.fr/en

SignalConso allows consumers to report an issue with an expert in just a few clicks. The professional concerned can then respond to find an amicable solution. Signal Conso supports efforts to clarify consumers’ rights.
The website will be maintained beyond the World Cup for use by all tourists to France during the 2024 Olympic Games.
