This Monday, 29th January, the English / Catering students of the 1RES European Section organized an afternoon tea with the Millau / Bridlington Twinning Committee so that the A to Z service could be carried out in English.

It's a delicious and cultural experience, offered this Monday, January 29Afternoon tea arranged By English Remedial Students of the 1RES European Section of the Jean Vigo Professional High School. The dual group reception at the Application Restaurant allowed the group engaged in this educational activity to combine culinary arts, English culture and language practices.

On the kitchen side, it is under the supervision of their culinary preparation teacher, Didier Rivmale, student chefs created this tea time with a menu featuring English delicacies such as scones (small English pastries enjoyed at tea time), cupcakes and other pastries. All with coffee or tea and juice. It delighted guests' taste buds, offering a truly English taste experience.

On the service side, the students were guided by an English teacher. Carine Ouallet, and gave the members of the duo a chance to put their language skills into practice by giving them a service in Shakespeare's language. The taproom of the utility restaurant is decorated in the colors of England, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Beyond delighting the taste buds, this Afternoon tea It allowed for real exchange between students and members of the twin group. Interesting discussions ensued. The native English speakers of the day contributed to an immersive environment, allowing students to practice the language in an authentic and professional environment.

Future collaborations between the Lycée Professionnel Jean Vigo and the Millau / Bridlington Twinning Committee are also planned to sustain cultural exchange.
