The catchy song with country pop influences addresses the need for escapism and freedom, and sets the stage for a French-language album to be released in 2024.
Co-written and produced by American musician and songwriter Aben Eubanks, who has worked with famous artists including Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande, the song was originally adapted in French and released in English. The French version was entrusted to Doriand, a talented European singer-songwriter who works closely with Mika. The text Alone Without You is Dorian’s vision What about hiding?Born as a result of sharing and creative exchanges with Beyries.
“Being alone without you / Hiding is a true ode to flight!” The song represents the idea of going on a road trip and leaving all your problems behind. “We all have our own ways of dealing with life’s challenges, and sometimes it’s good to get away, change your surroundings and find inspiration in something else,” says Peiris.
