The CCL28 Association (Cultural and Linguistic Center) organized a language rally for children aged 7 to 10 on Saturday afternoon at the Espace de la Pléiade. About ten children were registered for this playful session to improve their English and discover Arabic.

During this linguistic rally, CCL28 association’s English trainer Estelle Boret and Arabic trainer Roula Baddour guided the children: “In collaboration with the city of Louisiant there are language courses throughout the year with language discovery workshops, intensive courses and other activities. And La Pléiade, we also wanted to give these children the benefit of our experience. “, Estelle Boret underlined.
Around Eric Carl’s book A caterpillar that makes holes , available in English and Arabic, children became familiar with these foreign languages. “Since they are already learning English at school, they can practice pronunciation and learn new words,” explains the host of the day.
As for the Arabic language, facilitator Roula Baddour underlines: “They don’t know the alphabet, it’s very difficult, but we will work on finding words and sounds”.
