Salis-to-salad. An English summer camp in Lucerne

Possibility to learn English while staying in France!

Stephanie Ballero, APEAI’s animator with her association, Granz de Cell, has been conducting a “gardening in English” workshop in Salisbury-Salad every Wednesday morning for three years, proposing to organize a colony with only one language exchange: English.

“We are far behind in France in terms of English speaking ability. We believed in the positive effects of many years of immersion, we offer a 5 day course where we only speak English,” he explains.

“Proficiency in one or more foreign languages is the key to success. It allows you to let others know in terms of understanding and communication on a personal and professional level.”

This holiday camp will be held in English from November 1 to 5, 2021, in Pogneres-de-Luchon. Reserved for young people aged 14 to 17 (maximum 22 seats), this will take place on a salad rented by the association. “All the activities of the association will be in English,” Stephanie continues. “Cooking, sports activities, relaxation, games, evenings, discovery trips. Everything will be monitored by two animators, trilingual and native.”

Prices range from 70 to 200 per five days according to CAF rates, including accommodation and transport.
