La Ferté-Saint-Aubin. Middle school students meet Dr. Frankenstein.
About three hundred fourth and third grade students at Pré-des-Rois College participated in a play performed in English.
At the invitation of the college's English teachers, the Compagnie d'Oz set up its beautiful settings in Place Madeleine-Sologne and gave an exposition. Dr. Frankenstein's Folly A play entirely “in English”.
“It's a great experience for our students to hear conversations in English and find texts adapted from literary classics,” says Florence Joannin, English teacher. “Voicing” some dialogue.
At the end of the show, the three actors, American and Australian, willingly participated in a question-and-answer game with the students.
All the students, especially Camille, Dimeo and Ilham, from the fourth D, appreciated the comedy of the play, the play of the actors, between the three, multiplying the characters, as well as the voice “over”, repeating the action in French to facilitate understanding.
