Sassuolo manager Giovanni Carnevali confirms that the best offer for David Fratessi comes from the Premier League club.
The midfielder was ready to move to his boyhood club Roma last summer, but the two sides failed to agree terms. With AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli linked, he is sure to return to the center of speculation this summer. “I haven’t told him about the clubs that are interested. As of today, I’m trying to find out what is the best opportunity for Sassuolo, and at the moment it’s from a Premier League club. It’s too early to discuss that now, but we’ll all try to find out together if any of these Italian clubs really have a significant offer. Carnevali told Sky Sport Italia that the 23-year-old was linked with Arsenal last year and could be pursued by the Gunners again this time.
