Red Star Lab on London time! A workshop sponsored by Foot Locker.


From Monday 24th to 30th October, girls and boys under 15 licensees will have the opportunity to discover London. Allowing young people to escape, giving them a window into the world and encountering another culture is obvious to the club. A week to give our young graduates the opportunity to practice English in a fun way, and as always, mix education, culture, art and football.

Phase 2 of LAB Learn English through Football, designed in collaboration between Red Star FC and Foot Locker, will allow Red Star’s eight boys and four U15 girls to discover the London capital. A chance to discover a city that breathes football, but immerse yourself in English culture. The youth of Red Star LAB have a collective aim to hold a photo rally this week to showcase their journey and their findings.

Red Star Lab X Analog Football Photo Rally

In cooperation from 2021Red Star FC and Analog Football Young people from LAB will have the opportunity to strengthen their bond by being given the opportunity to take part in a photo rally in London this week. Analog Football is the first medium entirely dedicated to film photography and football. Red Star FC shares the analog view that film photography is the perfect tool to change the way we watch the game. It is a medium with learning values: toughness, patience, acceptance of failure, human interaction and artistic research.

Four themes from LAB will be tackled by our youth during this rally. Our graduates are assigned a journalistic assignment to win this photo challenge. A real challenge to improve your verbal expression and your skills! Four themes will guide Red Star LAB’s youth throughout the week:

• Architecture : Iconic buildings in London, constructions that catch the eye of young people from an architectural point of view.
• English in 2022 : Realization of portraits of English during residency to enable licensees to advance in English and overcome their shyness.
• English culture : Document all the elements of British culture that the club’s youth don’t see in France.
• English football : Documenting English football in all its forms (amateur, pro, staff, supporters, etc.)

Visits & Meetings

LAB’s youngsters won’t miss London’s essential monuments like Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Eye, Big Ben or the British Museum. But they can visit some of the stadiums in the capital and visit the London Lions Basketball Club.
