Vegamama Adds Dhruval OGGS to Vegan English Breakfast Menu – Vegan Economist

A Japanese restaurant chain based in the UK Wagamama It modified its full English vegetarian breakfast to include OGGS’s egg substitute instead of tofu.

First introduced in 2019, the dish includes vegetarian pork, jackfruit sausage, grilled tomato, katsu sweet potato, mushrooms and a grilled hirata bun. Currently, it is only available at Wagamama locations in airports (Manchester, Gatwick and Heathrow).

50% vegetable products

By 2021, Wagamama will make 50% of its menu plant-based to encourage its customers to adopt a more climate-friendly diet. Dishes include vegetarian rib ramen, duck-free donburi, tofu curry and vegetarian chili calamari.

In January, it launched a vegetarian version of its popular dish Kare Loman to celebrate vegetarianism. Available throughout the month, this dish features udon noodles in a spicy coconut broth and plant-based teriyaki chicken.
